Chatsworth Park and Beeley

Today called for a flat, familiar walk, with a nice coffee shop at the start. So we drove to Baslow, visited The Café on the Green and then walked from Chatsworth to Beeley and back. As ever, the first section is lovely. We spotted a heron:

And there are great views of the great house:

The village of Beeley is very pretty- clearly full of estate houses from Chatsworth- we were taken with Pig Lane and the evidence of pigsties. We sat in the churchyard and ate lunch and then meandered back to the start.
6.7 miles with 50m ascent.
